About anna

Anna is trained in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Five Element Acupuncture. The integration of these disciplines offers patients a unique treatment to restore balance physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Anna became interested in acupuncture when she was successfully treated for longstanding recurring headaches. She comes from a family with a strong tradition of helping others, and coupled with her own experience of acupuncture she was inspired to change the direction of her life and study as an acupuncturist. Never would she have predicted that by studying this medicine she would learn so much about herself.

The principle aim of acupuncture is to recover a healthy and natural balance between the physical and emotional self. Balance in life is incredibly hard to achieve, a constant battle Anna admits struggling with to this day. However, it is imperative to maintaining the desired state of harmony in life, something she now instills in her family.

Overall wellbeing

When Anna treats she looks at the person as a whole, exploring the underlying cause with a sensitive and thoughtful approach. Patients often walk away not only having resolved their main complaint but also with a greater sense of overall wellbeing and self-awareness about what is important to maintain that balance.

Tailored treatment

Anna keeps a general practice treating a broad range of conditions but has a special interest in areas of pain and injury recovery, stress-related illnesses, digestive problems, women’s health and facial acupuncture. In all cases treatment is tailored to each individual.

Professional development

Anna graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, one of the most highly regarded colleges in the country. She is a member of the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC), which guarantees excellence in training, safe practice and codes of conduct. She is committed to ongoing professional development, and fully insured.
